By-election updates in Gujarat
The counting of votes has started regarding the results of the by-elections of 8 assembly constituencies of Gujarat. It is to be mentioned that this by-election is witnessing a battle of prestige for both the ruling and opposition parties. It is worth mentioning that the first postal ballot was counted. It is to be noted that after the postal ballot count, EVM votes were counted. Votes were counted in a total of 25 counting rooms of 8 seats.

In the ballot paper count, BJP is leading with 8 seats and Congress with 0 seats. 25 counting rooms have been set up for 8 seats. A total of 97 tables will count 8 seats. 320 employees are employed on 8 seats.
It is to be mentioned that an atmosphere of celebration was witnessed at Kamalam in Gandhinagar. It may be noted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was in the lead in the by-elections in eight by-elections.
In Gujarat, the results of eight seats – Abdasa, Limbdi Morbi, Dang, Kaprada, Dhari, Gadha and Karjan – are awaited. This election is also interesting in that during the Rajya Sabha elections, Congress MLAs resigned and joined the BJP and hence by-elections were held on the vacant seats.
